Clumping Bamboo

Clumping Bamboo plants are a great option for screening and ornamental landscaping. They are also an alternative to perennial grasses with similar growth habits and the added benefit of being cold hardy, evergreen, deer resistant and very shade tolerant.

Clumping bamboo are not invasive, growing a few inches outwards each year. They are also a great option for shady areas under pines and trees that have lost their bottom foliage.

NJ Bamboo has for sale clumping bamboo plants from the Fargesia genus that are well adapted to New Jersey’s temperate climate. Each plant is hand selected from our managed groves, potted, fertilized and cared for until it has built up a strong root mass. This insures clients only receive the healthiest and highest quality plants for their landscape project.
