Bamboo Plants For Sale

Bamboo plants are evergreen, deer resistant and cold hardy suitable for NJ, NY and PA. For sale are running and clumping types of bamboo plants for landscaping applications including privacy hedges, noise barriers, fence extensions and ornamental & Asian style gardens.

NOTE:  New Jersey Bamboo Landscaping will only install fully contained running bamboo plants.  That is installing underground rhizome barriers completely around the permitters of the planting bed to prevent unwanted spread.  It is important to note that even with proper containment annual homeowner maintenance is required to keep the bamboo controlled.

Update 2026: New Jersey’s Invasive Species Management Act (Senate Bill S1029)

• Due to incoming legislation NJ Bamboo will no longer be installing running bamboo in the Garden State.  While the senate bill has been passed and signed by Gov Murphy on his last day in office the ban will be phased in.  Several committees still need to put together but the final determinations are put in place but to get ahead of any issues NJ Bamboo will not install any Phyllostachys bamboo in New Jersey Effective March 1st 2026.

There are many town ordinances restricting the planting and placement of running bamboo on residential properties.  New Jersey Bamboo Landscaping will look up any regulations prior to the installation to make sure your property is in full compliance.
